Lawsuit Claims iPad Overheats

A Lawsuit was filed on the 23rd of July against Apple Inc. in the federal court in Oakland, California. Claiming that Apples new iPad ‘does not live up to the reasonable consumer’s expectations created by Apple’ because it ‘overheats so quickly under common weather conditions.’

The lawsuit also claims that when placed in direct sunlight the iPad ‘turns off, sometimes after just a few minutes of use. Apple has no official comment on the lawsuit that was first reported by Bloomberg on Monday.

Has anyone else eperienced these problems? Living in the UK even with the fairly hot past few months I’ve not experienced any problems with over heating while using the iPad, even out and about and in direct sunlight. Apart from not being able to see the glossy screen. Roll on anti-glare iPad options.
