The Samsung Galaxy S Pro has been rumored for a very long time before being officially announced by Sprint as the Epic 4G. This will become the second smartphone to pack 4G radio network on Sprint’s network and in the US as well. According to this little Samsung TV schedule, the Sprint Samsung Epic 4G release date is August 20th!
Well, Samsung didn’t admit that the Sprint EPIC 4G release date is August 20th, but we’re clever enough to remember that Samsung made a TV infomercial about both the Vibrant and Captivate, they were released on that date so we can only think that history will repeat once again.
It’s a pitty that Sprint subscribers will have to wait more than three weeks to get their hands on the best QWERTY Android phone ever built.
The Samsung Epic 4G is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera with HD video recording capabilities, WiFi 802.11N, Android 2.1 OS, support for DLNA streaming and Mobile Hotspot functionality.
