Well, looks like Augen and K-mart are at it again this time it isn’t a cheap Android tablet they are trying to sell you it’s a Android netbook. The Augen GENBOOK108 is a 10.2″ netbook that runs on the Android 2.1 OS by Google.
The GENBOOK108 also comes with a ARM11 800Mhz processor(not like your average Intel Atom processor at all). The whole GENBOOK108 package weights only 1.8lbs and by the looks of the pictures is made mostly of plastic.
The GENBOOK108 showed up on K-Mart website just like the Augen GENTOUCH78 just showed up on K-Mart store shelves in Florida. Augen doesn’t seem to value a press release as much as say ASUS or Dell. The specifications for the $189.00 netbook can be found below. [K-Mart]
