Nokia launched its Symbian ^3 OS based smartphone, the new Nokia C7 at the Nokia World Event. With the launch of Nokia C7, world’s largest mobile maker company, Nokia has taken its smartphone market to a whole level and the company seems to enjoy the top gear thanks to the Symbian ^3 platform which is a world leader in OS systems. And this time Nokia’s all-new Symbian OS is much faster, easier, efficient and more developer friendly. Nokia C7 price in India is expected to be Rs. 15,500 and the handset is due to launch in the country in Q4 of 2010.
Nokia C7 features a 3.2 inch AMOLED display with 640 x 360 pixel resolution. The smartphone ranks very high when it comes to design and construction, which runs common to all Nokia handsets. C7 is a contemporary sleek device constructed from polished stainless steel and glass. The handset comes with 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to up to 32 GB via microSD card. Nokia gave a solid 8 MP camera to C7 with features like dual LED flash and HD video capability (720p).
Nokia C7 smartphone features three home screens that you can personalize with apps, contacts and keeps what is important to you at your fingertips- your favorite contacts, news, email and other apps. . The user can view all running apps and tap the screen to easily switch between them. The phone comes with easy finger gesture interface that enables its users to pinch to zoom, flick to scroll and tap to select. You can also share pictures directly from the phone or share them on your TV thanks to 3.5mm AV jack with TV-Out.
The connectivity features of Nokia C7 include WLAN, Bluetooth 3.0, USB on-the-go, Micro USB Connector and charging, HSPDA and 3.5 mm Nokia AV connector. Nokia C7 offers social networking and sharing live updates from Facebook and Twitter directly to your homescreen. The other additional features of the smartphone include Ovi Maps with free global drive and walk navigation, compass, Nokia Messaging, Web TV, music player, stereo FM radio, FM transmitter and active noise cancellation. The users also get access to Ovi store for games and apps.
