Attention Droid nation, the wait for the official Froyo build for your very popular QWERTY phone is finally over. Motorola has officially announced that it will start rolling out Android 2.2 update for Droid starting from the first week of August which makes it a perfect start for the month. Won’t you agree?
Why would you want to update your Droid to Froyo? What about Flash 10.1 support for starters? Ability to move apps to SD cards, use Flash light to record videos, do bluetooth voice calls are just a few of the many features that this update will bring to your handset.
The thing that needs to be mentioned specifically here is that Motorola Milestone won’t be blessed with Froyo love – at least for now – which isn’t a surprise for the owners of the European variant of Droid. Is it?
