A little more information about Samsung’s Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab has been revealed. It appears that the new Samsung tablet will come with a Super TFT LCD display and the reason behind this can be attributed to two factors.
The first is cost, with the Super TFT LCD display being cheaper to develop when compared to other display screen technologies that are available on the market today. The second reason that Samsung went with this display type has to do with the fact that it is more energy efficient which means that it will improve battery life, something that consumers will probably be looking for in a tablet computer.
It’s important to note that the Super TFT screens are different from the Super AMOLED screens that Samsung has been deploying in some of their other devices like the Galaxy S smartphones.
