Nokia C5-03 Symbian^1 Touchscreen Smartphone

Nokia has announced a new addition to its smartphone lineup, the Nokia C5-03. The handset, which will be launched globally at the end of the year, is an inexpensive touchscreen phone with a couple of neat features. It is the device for you if you are looking for a new device that is simple to use but covers all of the essentials for modern-day phones.

The curvy styling of the device is reminiscent of the Nokia C6 announced at Nokia World last month. The Nokia C5-03 runs Symbian^1 (S60 5th Edition) and is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera
with 4X digital zoom (but there is no flash).

The device, which measures 105.8 (L) x 51 (W) x 13.8 (H) mm and weighs 93 grams, features a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen
which provides a resolution of 640×360.

The device also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, A-GPS, an FM radio
(but no FM transmitter) and a microUSB port. But you will not get the five-band HSPA of the N8 and C7. The C5-03 has quadband GSM/EDGE and triband WCDMA (900/1900/2100).

The phone has 40MB of user memory and a microSD
slot that will provide support for up to 16GB. The device also comes with Ovi Mail, Ovi Maps and Ovi Store access and a decent battery life of up to 11.5hrs talktime or 25 days standby.

The Nokia C5-03 is expected to cost around 170 Euros and it will be available in four colors – graphite black, lime green, petrol blue, and aluminum grey.
