Owners of Dell's tablet-come-mobile phone, the Dell Streak, will find that they can upgrade the device's Android OS to version 2.1 today, providing they're are on an O2 contract.
It's a pretty simple process, but as ever with a mobile OS update, do make sure to back up any important files you may have stored on the device just in case disaster strikes. You can never be too careful, right?
The 97.57MB download may not be the Froyo 2.2 action Streak owners are desperately holding out for, but it's still a step in the right direction. A Dell spokesperson also confirmed that the update will soon be available for those who bought the device unlocked, contract-free.
