Current Twitter trends: Android Market, Gregory Isaacs, Karva Chauth

"ZOMBIE COUGARS" is a promoted term at the top of Tuesday's chart being used to generate chatter about the video game Red Dead Redemption.

Sony's decision to stop selling Walkman cassette players keeps "Walkman" in fifth place, and the death of Jamaican reggae musician Gregory Isaacs puts his last name in sixth place.

Tweets announcing the "Android Market surpasses 100,000 apps: can't stop, won't stop growing" have resulted in Google's "Android Market" gaining the seventh spot in Tuesday's chart.

Both "Karva" and "Chauth" feature in Twitter's most talked about topics on October 26 as married women in India and Pakistan take part in the one-day Karva Chauth festival by fasting and praying for long life, well being and prosperity for their husbands.

In ninth place is the name of both a fictional character in the Halloween films and comedian and actor "Michael Myers."
