Sony is out with their latest PMP, the A845. The advertisement looked good right? But does it really deliver “as shown on TV”? We plug-in the earphones and find out!
Design
The device has a sleek look, with a crystal clear 2.8 inch OLED display on the front. Below the display are the main function keys laid out in a round dial format. In the centre is the play/pause button, surrounding this are the navigation keys, which help you to navigate through the menu, playlists, and also act as a fast forward or backward keys while playing a song or a video.
Just outside the navigation keys there are two buttons for Home/Back and Option/Power respectively. On the right-side of the player are the volume keys and the hold key. At the bottom, there’s the 3.5 mm audio jack and the proprietary Sony WM-Port for transferring files. Weighing at just about 62 grams, it’s quite light.
