Nokia launches dual-SIM Sets

Finland-based Nokia announces on Monday its invasion into the dual-SIM mobile phone market as it launches two new handsets in India. The release is aimed to strengthen the status of the company in the country’s mobile market.

The Indian mobile phone market is currently dominated by Nokia, Samsung and LG, and with local competition like Micromax, Spice, Karbonn and Zen that offering cheaper phones with great features.

The release of the two new devices is intended for the consumers convenience, savings, and efficiency. The new handsets offer multiple SIM capabilities and balanced feature set with relevant innovations at an affordable price.

The Nokia C1 that includes flashlight, FM radio and call divert feature is available for Rs 1,999, while the Nokia C2 will give users access to services like Ovi Life Tools and Ovi Mail.

It also includes a music player and support micro- SD cards of up to 32 GB. It will be available later this year.
